Affiliate Disclosure

OutpostLog is a participant-to-be in affiliate advertising programs designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to merchants. As of site launch, programs such as Amazon Associates, EcoFlow, BougeRV, and similar partners are not yet joined. Links that will become affiliate links are marked as placeholders (for example, href="#affiliate-link") until enrollment is complete.

When affiliate links are active

After joining a program, some links on this site will be affiliate links. That means if you click a link and purchase something, OutpostLog may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. Recommendations will still be based on category criteria described in the articles—not on commission rate alone.

FTC compliance

In accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s guidelines concerning use of endorsements and testimonials in advertising, this site will clearly disclose affiliate relationships. Individual posts include an affiliate disclosure note near the top. This page is the standing disclosure for the site as a whole.

No fake pricing or invented specs

OutpostLog does not invent product prices or technical specifications. When specific products are mentioned, claims stay general unless verified from manufacturer documentation. Always confirm current specs and pricing on the seller’s site.
